ABSTRACT

Simple description of the contents of the article Similarly, the abstract is read by far more readers than is the average article. The abstract serves important purposes in summarizing the hypotheses, design, and findings of the study and in representing the article in indexing databases.

 

INTRODUCTION

The Journal of Asian Review of Public Affairs and Policy seeks to be a different kind of journal in organization as well as in content. Maintaining the highest quality in both peer-review and publication standards. This requires that authors make an effort to submit manuscripts that are as ready for publication as possible.

A strong introduction engages the reader in the problem of interest and provides a context for the study at hand. In introducing the research concern, the writer should provide a clear rationale for why the problem deserves new research, placing the study in the context of current knowledge and prior theoretical and empirical work on the topic.

  • To establish current knowledge of the field;
  • To summarize previous research, providing the wider context and background and the importance of the current study;
  • To set the stage for the present research, indicating gaps in knowledge and presenting the research question; and
  • To introduce present research, stating its purpose and outlining its design.


METHODOLOGY

In both quantitative and qualitative research, the use of appropriate methods of participant sampling, study design, measures, and statistical analysis critically influences the studies methodological. Study should on clear methodology, that is, use of appropriate, valid, and unflawed methods of sampling and use of instruments, procedures, and analysis.

 

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

Writing style. All papers must be submitted for review in English. We recommend the APA Style Manual.

  • Font: Use 12-point Times New Roman font, (Single spaced) Line and Paragraph Spacing
  • Tables: Tables are columns of numbers or text. Place a brief descriptive caption above eac table. Tables should be numbered sequentially; thus, Table 1, Table 2, and Table 3.
  • Figures: All graphics that are not tables such as drawings, photos, maps, flow charts, and graphs should be called and treated as figures. All figures should be sent as separate files in jpg format, and each file should be labeled with the figure number. All jpg should be large and high resolution so they may display clearly on the web site. Write a brief descriptive caption for each figure and place them sequentially together on a page following the tables (if any). Figures should be numbered sequentially; thus, Figure 1, Figure 2, and Figure 3. Thus, all figures should provide essential information for the article.
  • Page numbers: Do not add page numbers in either headers or footers. These will be added along with citation information by the editor before the manuscript is converted to a pdf.
The Results section should include a summary of the collected data and analyses, which follows from the analytic plan.

The purpose of a References section is to provide information to readers on how they can find a source of information you used in your article. Full references to all articles cited in the text must be given in the References section.

  • Follows APA style
  • Use “et al.” in the text when a reference has three or more authors.

  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
